2009 Battalion ServiceThe Battalion held a joint service... The Annual Battalion Service was held at Carey Memorial Baptist Church on Sunday 28th June. The service was led by the Chaplain of 1st Kettering Rev Peter Strong. The service was theme 'Building Firm Foundations'. Members from the 1st and 3rd Kettering and 11th Northampton took part. 160 Boys and leaders were on parade representing 10 Companies from the Battalion. The Mayor of Kettering Councillor Ruth Groome was guest and during the service she presented the Progress Shield to the 22nd Northampton Company(Towcester Road Methodist Church)
