2009 National AthleticsOn July 4th 2009 the Battalion took an Athletics team to the England Athletics Competition in Nottingham at the Harvey Hadden Stadium. We had a team in each age group and took part in all the usual disciplines. Despite it being a very warm afternoon all our young men did well in their events although the competition was tough from Nottingham and Birmingham. The senior team came 3rd while the intermediates and juniors came 5th with 7 teams competing in total. Individually a number of the participants came home with a collection of medals. Thanks go to all those who took part and represented the Battalion.
