Company Section Activity Day
I went to the Barnabus Centre with Boys' Brigade. Whilst we were there, we took part in kayaking, crate stacking and "the leap of faith".
Crate stacking was fun but quite difficult as it depended on other people so we needed a lot of teamwork to keep on stacking the crate without falling off. It was great fun and a good experience and I'd do it again!
After crate stacking, one at a time we climbed up a wooden telegraph pole to try the leap of faith. We tried to jump off and catch the trapeze. We then let go and got lowered down. Lastly I went kayaking. Whilst the leap of faith was mentally challenging, this was physically challenging. At first, it was hard to go in a straight line but I got the hang of it after a while. Whilst kayaking, we played mini-games like running across the kayaks and a ball/tag game. The day as a whole was fulfilling and strengthened relationships between company members.
