2009 Junior Section 5-a-side Football

Almost 50 Junior Section boys took part in a 5-a-side football tournament.

The event was held on Saturday October 3rd at the Benham Sports Arena on Moulton Park. The nine teams competing consisted of boys from seven different companies. Each team played four games

Congratulations to the winning team, the 22nd Northampton Company from Towcester Road who impressively won all of their games. In a closely fought tournament it got down to the last round of matches as the 22nd were level with the 21st from Moulton Carey - who went on to draw their last match. The games were played in great spirit and all are looking forward to the next 5-a-side tournament which will be held early next year.
